Hyundai N has added an artificial gearbox and engine sound in a bid to capture the spirit of a traditional petrol hot hatch.
Two of the reasons I prefer EVs... Someone doesn't know their target audience
thankfully they can be turned off
I think it's a dumb feature too. I can stimulate loss of power by taking my foot off the pedal.
Are you the target though? Wouldn't you just get a limited? The N is for the motor head.
I can want the extra power and improved handling without fake engine noises.
Same. Long time gearhead, but I don't want fake noises. I am fine with them offering it for others though.
Which is why it can be disabled.. but at the same time you can understand there are others that want that sound. The whole point of this car is options. It has a fuck ton of options.
