Whoops! I did it again.

I tried to update Lemmy and pulled a version that was out of sync with current configs. We're back, but at what cost...

Hi folks,

I apologize about the recent downtime, we hit a diskspace issue that I wasn't expecting. I've since increased space but I'll be looking at moving us to object storage for the pict-rs database since images appear to be the largest piece of this puzzle.

I found another bug with the email relay configuration I'd setup so I just updated the instance to handoff directly to sendgrid for sending emails, hoping that fixes any further email authentication issues going forward. That being said, I purged all the unverified users in hopes of giving people a shot at re-registering if they'd attempted previously and gotten stuck. Also cleared out about 150 bots.

Please keep all feedback or bugs pertaining to this new Lemmy update to v0.18.3 in this megathread

I'm going to attempt to bring us up to Lemmy 0.18.3 to fix a few bugs. Expect some downtime in the next few hours and I'll post an update as soon as the status changes.

UPDATE: Successfully took a snapshot, moving on to performing the upgrade now.
