One of the cryptids I came across when looking for inspiration for a previous challenge. The Slide-rock bolter is just such a weird creation.
It's a whale-like creature that hangs at the top of a slope, waiting for a tourist to walk by below. When that happens, it would slide down the slope at high speed, using it's saliva as a lubricant, and eat the hapless passerby in one gulp. Using its momentum it would then slide up the other mountain to find a new hiding spot.

It's so ridiculous, I just love it :)

All people are not created equal but inequal on nearly every conceivable metric ~and this should have no bearing on one's treatment of others. We should be empowering to greatness the worthy, no matter their race and gender, with diversity a wonder we are thankful for. Were I to grasp the intended meaning of 'equal', I would state it as the right to power over one's own destiny and ability to enact change on the scales required. And my observation of this moral intent is that it has failed. It is the boardmember of the multinational company, the lobbying group, and those willing to do anything for the shareholders who disproportionately hold power in this realm of intended equality.
