A little crochet flower I made before going to bed.

…to go with my hand-wired keyboard (or any keyboard). Numpad is “Masonite” hardboard I cut myself and painted with “textured” spray paint. I had the keyboard layout cut from aluminum by Xometry a few months back.

This is my first recorded Jam with the EP133. I have really mixed feelings about the EP133. On one hand its really fun to play around with, and make cool beats, but at the same time i find the Live performance experience to be, tricky at best. It requires way to many simultaneous button presses to perform things, and there are not enough options for scene transitions. (I want an option to change on pattern end, not just bar/tick)

As such this is not an optimal Jam, as i probably would have needed more time to rehearse, and in the end i also ended up cutting out a part in the middle of the video because awkward transitions and overall performance was not interesting to listen to.

I'm not quite ready to give up on the EP133, but I think i would need some really substantial software updates to be properly useful for me, and not just something fun to goof around with.... The frustrations in live play just makes me want to put it away and pull out the Circuit Tracks. :/

It was even the same brand. I love when hoarding materials pays off.

Here's a song I made (soundcloud.com)

I’ve been making music for about 10 years but haven’t officially released anything. I’m hoping to release my first EP this year, though! This is one of the tracks that’s nearly finished.

Side note: does anyone here know of a community similar to r/wearethemusicmakers on Lemmy for music production?

Hand-wired, 3D printed case, laser cut switch plate, “laser dye sub” keycaps, custom layout.

Posted this on a couple of communities a while back, but I just subbed here and this board has actually worked really well.

I didn't care much for the blocky IKEA table we had so I made one with similar dimensions inspired by Alexandre Chappel's design.

Made these for my wife :) She drew the board shape and asked me to make it look like a circuit board. Everything on there is actually functional because I couldn’t bring myself to put down random components.

Yes he's lumpy, yes his paws are mismatched, but it's my very first completed amigurumi and I'm proud of my little boy :)

Chiptunes, yo! The Game Boy can only play four sounds at the same time, so it took some trickery to cram the song into that sound chip.

Here's the original
