Hello, I just ran cinebench on my new i9 14900k and Im only getting a score of 2000 and 36k on cinebench r23, which is way less than what I got on my 13900k, all stock-asus settings on both. The i9 14900k SP is 93, did I just get screwed on the silicon lottery or am I doing something wrong? I'm also using a new asus board(z790 rog strix gaming-e II), so maybe future bios updates will help.

Tune your AC and DC LL. You're most likely just overvolted at stock and creating issues with the power limits.

How's PL1/PL2 configured? Maybe the 14900K is power limited?

My 14900KF gets 41.8K MC score without power limits and my 13900KS gets 41K.

Stock settings, which seems to be pl1: 253, pl2: 4096

Is the system throttling somewhere? (I know 14th should behave better than 13th but silicon quality may net be the same)

Who wastes money on a 14900k when they have a 13900k??? It's literally almost exactly the same chip...

I'm getting 40k now just by setting the priority to real-time in task manager, does everyone do this or does it make the rating superficial at that point?
