When someone says they specifically want to eat popsicles, you know they never run out of popsicles, they have a freeze that's half filled with them.

I rarely laugh out loud when reading articles/interviews but that had me in stitches.
"Good story is what horror is all about. That's what I searched the world for, what I try to do."

This is what makes him a master. He has a clear focus on the core storytelling component of film, and no preconceived notions as to what makes a good story. It's a lot easier to find that revolutionary story if you're not preoccupied in a search for some notion of what a story is supposed to be.
