I just discovered we can put a display name in that allows things like spaces - I even added a bird emoji.

I clicked my heels twice and now I'm here.

Where is here?

I think @[email protected] got stuck in yesterday's thread. Can everyone yell really loud and guide them here?

Update on the cats: Sammi at least licked the gravy off some of the opened Dine (but didn't finish the contents).
Zooks is sacked out but the plate is near her so we'll see (wouldn't bet the farm on it).
Neither of them seem to like the minced beef.

If r/crochet stays dark I will lose so many patterns for things I was definitely going to maybe eventually make. So many bookmarks.

Having similar issues with other learning subreddits I follow. I very recently joined a sub for learning Dutch and I'm not keen for it to potentially go under because it has some excellent threads and resources.

So checking out Mlem… It’s okay for now.

In a moment of sheer brilliance, I got completely fuddled, thought I created a duplicate account, and accidentally deleted the account I just made, inadvertently locking out the other name for good. Eventually managed to get things together enough, although I ended up with a headache. Not ideal for just getting over being ill, and a different kind of headache.

I now know what it is to be like, to be 97, and not know how to computer. Admittedly, the interface not telling you that there's an issue and just sitting there loading forever did not help any.
