I love Pita Gyros and Burek. I'm from the balkans :D
Right now I adore the volcano menu at taco bell.
Day in and out I enjoy the McChicken, filet-o-fish, McNuggets, fries, and most food from Portillos.
But I rarely get most of that stuff unfortunately.
Arbys, by a mile. I've lived abroad for about 2 decades and everytime I'm back gotta get me at least a few classic Roast Beef and a pile of horsey sauce.
As a rule I avoid fast food, and most of it I can't stand. Grew up on White Castle though, and I still love it.
Does Dim Sum count? It should count. They usually premake them and then store in those steam racks/cabinets, ready to serve.
Nothing beats Siu Mai imo
I've been lucky enough to live within close range of a Taco John's for several decades of my life. I absolutely love their food, and can't resist a serving of their Potato Olés (dip them in a side of nacho cheese for tasty effect). While I've experienced various levels of "ick" from Taco Bell, I have always had great food from Taco John's.
Tim Horton's sausage Farmer's breakfast wrap.
KFC is the best (as long as Subway doesn't count as Fast Food, certainly doesn't feel like one)
I'd really love to try Taco Bell sometime, but we don't have it here.
Taco Time, a regional chain, is my all-time favorite. I’m terms of national (US) chains…probably Dairy Queen or Wendy’s? I just like fries and ice cream.
Chick fil A, I love their chicken strips and the Chick fil A sauce.
Wendy's jr bacon cheeseburger, no mayo, add ketchup, add mustard.
My go-to is an independent place near me that does excellent falafel. They do kebabs and fried chicken too, but that's more so-so.
There's no KFC here. A local chain "Fly Chicken" is similar, except better (IMO) but also more expensive. 13.50€ for 10pcs hot wings. Norway is expensive in general.
Depends on whether I'm feeling cheap or not!
Cheap:
Burger King Chicken Jr.
McDonald's Hot and Spicy or McDouble
Jack in the Box Tacos or Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger
Not:
Big Mac
Chick-Fil-A
well, I had a veggie pattie subway sub with all the salad and tomato sauce and sweet chili sauce, and it was awesome.
Our Texas chains a pretty good. Whataburger has been nerfed a bit since a PE firm bought them, b,ut they've still got half a dozen specialty menu items that are really good and regionally tailored.
Taco Bueno is one step up (but probably only one) from Taco Bell, but again, it's about being regionally tailored. It's pure Tex-Mex, with chili con carne available as a sauce, focusing on slightly chunky salsa roja, seasonal tamales, etc.
McDonalds. I like Five Guys, but it's too expensive. Subway is also good, but I'm not sure that counts as "fast food".
Aside from ultra-local burger place, it’s Del Taco. I used to be exclusively Taco Bell, but for the past 5 years or so it’s been the reverse. Deal Taco tasted better, better variety and loads their tacos up with more ingredients.
In n out, chick fil a, wendys, and mcdonalds
It used to be McDonald in my 20s, but in my thirties I love a good subway sandwich tbh. And no bs either. Simple hearty Italian, ham and cheese, pickles, lettuce, one line of mayo, and jalapeños if you like it spicy. NOT toasted. Simple. Yet so delicious.
