Captain Marvel actor Brie Larson appeared to have forgotten her first interaction with her MCU co-star Scarlett Johansson.

When host Ellen DeGeneres asked if the two had met before filming and where was their first meeting, the two had different answers. While Johansson was on the right track, Larson seemed to have forgotten. She referred to a dinner the actors had attended on New Year’s Eve. However, Johansson reminded Larson that they had actually met on the sets of Don Jon. Johansson said,

“Clearly it made an impression on me but somebody else didn’t care. We worked together. We did this movie called ‘Don Jon’. And we did a couple of scenes together. Shame on you [to Brie].”

Brie Larson tried to cover it up by saying that she was a ‘glorified extra’ in the film and that she was just in awe of Scarlett Johansson. But then she admitted to being embarrassed about forgetting their first interaction ever.

The “dis”

People Magazine played it off as a joke, and Johansson complimented Larson immediately after. You can watch a video to decide for yourself.

This happened in 2019 and doesn't seem very important now, even for celebrity "news."

Yeah I meant to put dis in quotation marks. It’s pretty much always actors joking with each other
