It is. I started reading it to practice my Japanese, but I'm completely hooked now and I hope we'll get a new volume soon.
Did the exact same thing. The colloquialisms were tricky at first but I'm glad I stuck with it. Really like all the characters. Even Yanda.
Hahaha, Yanda is a bit of an ass but he's got his heart in the right place.

It's Yotsuba&! in English, I believe.
Yotsuba&! (よつばと! yotsuba to). Every chapter is basically "Yotsuba and something" where she gets into some kind of shenanigans.
Slice of life, scenery porn (man, Azuma draws like a mf), pretty funny, intensely cute and just a good time.
