Linux
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).
Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

I use Debian 12 with Plasma at home. I'm retired so no work computers.
Nobara on my main gaming PC, Mint on my laptop, Steam(Arch-base) on my Steam Deck. Virtual servers, mostly Ubuntu, but I play around with Alma, Rocky, Raw Debian, and Arch.
I also play around with random ones on my laptop. Mint is the current one, but I rotate distros for that device every 6-12 months.
Devuan.
Before that was lubuntu. Snaps and systemd bugged me. Decided it was time to jump ship. Devuan just worked.
Debian Stable, with GNOME and extensions on desktop and laptop, Debian Stable no GUI on servers. Upgraded all to Bookworm (v12) over the weekend, it was the most non-eventful upgrade I've ever had. :P
I started with debian but I always liked the idea of rolling release distro so I switched to arch a year or so ago and I've been happily using it to this day
I mainly use Linux for my job (instead of a daily driver), where I'm primarily running Kali and Ubuntu.
I've also got a Steam Deck, though, so I believe I'm contractually obligated to tell everyone I'm running Arch.
Manjaro (btw)
Endeavour w/ i3 is my desktop daily driver as of a few months ago. Switched from Kubuntu, but have been using i3 on top of it for several years now.
PopOS on my laptop.
Fedora XFCE
I absolutely adore Linux Mint, used it as my daily driver for a while; it was the distro that really sold me on Linux as a desktop OS. Recently made the switch over to Gentoo though (partly as a personal challenge, partly to get more familiar with Linux, and partly to take advantage of the flexibility that comes with literally configuring everything yourself lol).
Some may call me basic but I always come back to Linux mint. I always try new distros but mint just works for me without issues.
Next distro I will try is pop os
I use Arch on my desktop and Asahi Linux on my laptop
I use mint, but I run i3-gaps on it
I want things to be up to date, stable, and customisable. Oh and not have the crap Ubuntu tries to shove down my throat these days.
Mint, although been awhile since tried anything different and considering giving Fedora a try.
I've just started trying Mint on my laptop after using Ubuntu for about 10 years. Cinnamon is definitely an adjustment for me. I don't entirely know if Mint is for me, but I'm gonna try sticking it out a while longer. Been thinking about giving Fedora a whack on VM.
Fedora currently, but I'm interested in that Cosmic Desktop that system 76 is making for PopOS. I might try it out on PopOS when it releases.
I'm currently running Mint on my Computer and Ubuntu on servers.
Pop_OS. I picked it because someone called it the "zoomer OS" lmao.
Debian stable on everything
an internet stranger of culture, I see!
Just Ubuntu. I have tried plenty of others but Ubuntu just seems to tick most boxes for me.
EDIT: I am looking forward to the new Pop! when it comes out, I will surely give it a try, No idea if I will switch then though.
Server: Ubuntu at work (previously CentOS), Debian at home. Toying with the idea to switch the home server to NixOS, given that all the services I run there are already configured declaratively.
Desktop: Ubuntu mainly due to inertia from back in the day when it was the simplest way to get Steam and ZFS support, but my loathing of snaps increases every day and I would be willing to consider alternatives if I had to reinstall. I don't care for rolling release as long as I have flatpaks. An install option with LVM is a must for me, however.
Mint, Manjaro and Gentoo atm.
I currently use Debian for pretty much every. I also like NixOS and Endeavour.
Ubuntu or Kubuntu. Long are gone the days where I used to tinker with different Linux flavors.
Fortunately, I can afford powerful enough systems so I do not have to be worried about optimizing every single aspect of the OS.
I want things just to work out of the box. I am aware that this applies to more distros than Ubuntu, but I just do not have the time and energy anymore.
I use gentoo everywhere, from my nas to my webserver and my pc and laptop.
With binhost and distcc it’s really not bad and the customizability is just unmatched.
Ubuntu on my servers and as container base images.
I like PopOS quite a bit.
I started using it less though when I got an HDR monitor- can’t wait for that to be supported in Linux
Alpine is bae
