Today is meal prep day, rendering down 5kg of beef suet into tallow.

First chunked the suet, now slowly heating it!

My hands feel very soft, like I took a bath in skin cream!

A full bottle is about $3 USD of beef fat rendered down

Top Tip: The more yellow the rendered fat the more grass that was in the diet, so pasture raised, pasture finished beef should be deliciously yellow because of all the good nutrition.

I have found my 2kg of tallow had so far lasted two years. Some day I'll get around to making pemmican

I've never tried pemmican, I wonder how edible it is
