Not sure what year your laptop is from but depending on the ports you have available, you can get a GPU enclosure to open up your options on cards you can get.
It's from 2020. So you mean a external graphics card via thinderbold?
I just had a look at the prices and god damn, it's almost as expensive as buying a full computer. I think I will probably stick to a desktop computer instead.
Resolve on Linux is designed around Nvidia and X11.
Urgh, X11? I haven't been using it since 2016.
You can use it on Wayland but Resolves support target is CentOS 8 :/
