A place to share alternatives to popular online services that can be self-hosted without giving up privacy or locking you into a service you don't control.

@[email protected] I don’t know that they are essential but I run a fediverse instance and a linkstack instance. Really interested in what people would consider essential to self host.. honestly sftp and mail are the most essential for me to host right now.
