What is the money being spent on?
I always get a laugh when that is conveniently left out of the conversation.
News, highlights and more relating to this great province!

Uncontrolled?
Did you forget that Covid happened during that "decade" you quoted.
Fucking idiots not understanding how the government (or the world) works.
Not to mention the insane cuts to healthcare and education that started with the Gordon Campbell government that are largely responsible for putting us in the situation we are now in for this province. It is going to take decades to fix the damage they did even without covid.
In 2002, Campbell’s Liberal government forecast operational spending of $25.6 billion. Horgan’s first budget forecast spending of $53.6 billion
Wait, the operational budget has increased in 20 years? say its not so! $25.6B in 2002 money is equivalent to $44.71B in 2024 money, so the increase is only $8.9B. Thats crazy good! Cudo's to the NDP
Also larger population means more tax revenue and more needs to spend on in order to keep up with services.
Gosh, if only the BC Libs hadn't dug such a deep fucking hole.
The programs the BC NDP has been pushing are worth far more than they're costing us - maybe we need more provincial taxes or to cut back once they stabilize but this is good.
Canadian Taxpayer Federation is usually a front to Conservative activists. On election year, paint me surprised, but they did come out swingin' to blame non Conservatives for every ill out there.
Is 22 years like a "baker's decade" or something?
