It is cool but parallels has removed my need to dual boot.
Yeah … I’ve been using umt.
I imagine this is intended for people who don't want to use macOS for some reason.

basically a way to install linux natively on Apple Silicon Macs.
The people who make a Linux distribution for Apple Silicon Macs are proposing this convention for disk partitions so that multiple operating systems can coexist and be recognized by the OS chooser at boot.
