Darktable is the open source equivalent to Lightroom. I have no idea if it can actually do what you want, but it at least gives you a starting point. I know there are also plugins for darktable that might do what you need. Even if it doesn't, you might be able to use Darktable instead with some work and some workflow changes, and you won't be trapped to Adobe. I use it for raw photo editing, but I'm a rookie.

Darktable is great for image editing, and workflow, and it even supports hierarchical keywords, but I've not found a way of getting my existing hierarchical keywords out of Lightroom in to Darkroom. When I import the images, it imports the keywords as flat keywords, and that would require months of effort to organise again.
