On mobile, no matter which instance I browse in, and no matter what I sort by (top day, active, etc.), after a bit of scrolling I suddenly get an influx of recently created posts that spams the whole page, and I can't continue scrolling because the spam just keeps going. I'm not even sorting by new.

Does this happen to anyone else? Have any of you found a solution to this yet? I mostly use social media on my phone and this bug occurs so often that it pretty much renders Lemmy unusable for me :/

Yep. It's a know bug. I believe they are fixing it with the next update. But you can also use Jerboa it's getting really good.

I'm having the same issue, though not as often you seem to be. I was able to scroll through after refreshing the page. The weird thing though is that I refreshed the page because of the flood of new posts, but afterward the page was at its initial state. All of the new posts were gone.

Also, any pics I expand to look at seem to close themselves at random once I've moved on. Sometimes right away, sometimes later on. This also moves the list around while I'm trying read.

I know this isn't helpful to you, but hopefully someone who knows about these things will see it and might have a solution for us.

Also, if it matters, I'm using Firefox on mobile.

It happens on desktop as well. It’s getting worse as the post frequency increases.
