Perez has won so many undeserved DOTD votes on the back of his shit qualifying performances.

I think it should have gone to Lando. Being able to keep Checo behind like that in the last stint was impressive!
Max was probably coasting most of the race while Perez was pushing. He still finished over half a minute behind Max. That was not only a shit qualifying performance, but also a bad performance today.
Well its not DOTWeekend
Not bad from Ricciardo , out scoring Tsunoda after being hit by Zhou at the start
And his last 40 or so laps were on the same set of medium tires!
I agree, not too bad of a drive from him!Although both Alpines retiring certainly helped.
For his overall finishing position, certainly, but his main objective will be to finish ahead of Tsunoda consistently.
What a start by Piastri! He's so impressive for a rookie.
Let's hope he'll start getting some recognition soon, I can't believe how few people are hyping him!
Well, that is one way of swapping Charles and Carlos.
Crazy how firmly Ferrari have established themselves as the perpetual butt of the joke.
Underrated part of Max's driving is just how damn good he is at conserving tyres.
Consistently the last to pit on the same tyres.. (along with Alonso)
He definitely deserves the "tire whisperer" monicker more than Checo.
He got that moniker partly because Racing Point loved starting on hards and going long. Not to say he didn't execute well, but it was also a product of strategy.
also those were the old 13 inch tires
I donβt think Checo figured out the 18 inch tires like Max has
Verstappen's utter dominance aside I like this season. It's very unpredictable from 2 to 16
And Gasly had a fantastic start too, that was such bad luck.
They just said his seat broke in half when his car landed. That must have been a pretty painful incident too.
Excited to see what the Alfa Romeos can do. The victory will easily go to Max though I think.
Let's see how aggressive he and Lewis get on lap 1
You have to think that Lewis has nothing to gain by settling for 2nd, and Max wouldn't let his own kid win a backyard race, so he's not conceding anything
Iβm a max fan, but a 33 second victory is insane
force him to start in p15
It genuinely doesn't matter. We've already seen it. Remember Miami?
Let's go. Super exited about this race.
Hyped! Looking out for
- If and how long Lewis can hold P1
- Both McClaren and Alfa Romeo keeping in the points at the end
- Perez battles and climbing up
- Ferrari strategy not working
- DANNY RICCCCC
Piastri is seriously impressive, seems like a veteran out there.
Mclaren is looking insane. That car is rapid and this isnβt where they thought theyβd be good but theyβre fucking nailing it. Same with their Pitstops. A few years ago we were clowning how bad their pit crews were, this is a far cry from that
It's great to see how much of a jump they've made mid-season. They're where Aston Martin was at the start of the season, but with two competitive drivers.
RB is going to win the rest of this, arenβt they
That is such a crazy record to beat. And if what crofty is saying is Monza could wrap the constructors and Singapore could wrap the drivers.
This season has been a write-off since Bahrain is we're being honest. Most people didn't want to be pessimistic but the expert analysts warned us even after testing already, and after a handful of races it was definitely clear.
What I'm curious about is whether anyone else can win before 2026. I know it sounds negative but the cars are more reliable than ever and the driver quality of the grid is higher than ever, so the chances of random incidents taking out both RBs are lower than they've ever been. And Max himself has basically completely cut out mistakes from his driving.
Really cannot fathom how/why Sainz is still behind Leclerc
Just Ferrari things
Poor Oscar for losing 2nd with strategy. Hopefully they can both stay on the podium at least.
Hoping for big things from McLaren, Lando has great race pace the other top runners only have one car at the front so pit stop strategy should be in their hands
RIP Alpine
Dude Alpine is so unlucky
I feel like the grid is the wrong way around here and pole should have been on the inside.
Or Max is just that damn good.
