Does anyone else experience, what I’m calling, the flash bang bug? Where when switching back into the app it switches from dark mode to light mode?

I do have match system theme set but it seems to get confused at night and loads the white one first when switching back to the app causing a flash bang.

This is fixed in 0.5. It is actually a React Native bug in the latest version, so I’ve implemented a hack to fix it. 👍👍

Nope can’t say I’ve experienced that

Happens here also, but the opposite. I use the light theme and sometimes it will show the dark theme for a sec and then go back to light.

What version of memmy do you have ? It should be fixed in version 0.4

Edit: 0.5 not 0.4

For me, it actually started with v0.4 and I didn’t see it previously.

It goes both ways, flashing the opposite of the selected theme. I match system theme which follows day/night.

One thing I noticed is that it happens when the app is in the background and it switch back to it. In fact, that might be the only time it happens.

I literally downloaded this app an hour ago, and I have this bug, so I guess it still exists

Happens to me constantly too. Version 0.4.

Yeah I’ve had it. Noticed it under 0.4 consistently and believe I saw it just a bit earlier with 0.5 also.

Using the Dracula and Light theme set to match the OS current dark/light mode.
