Questions for those who use water chestnuts. Is it ok to sample them from a can before they get to the wok? Basically will I die? I may have eaten 1/4 can.

I get people being pissed off at the profiteering of supermarkets. Hell I've often thought the same especially when I see a bottle of Dove body wash for 17 dollars.

But at the same time shouting into space is only going to get you so far. Colesworth is a publicly listed company doing what those kinds of companies do - try and increase their profits. So unless you make that illegal or perform some other drastic intervention they will keep doing it.
