Sexual assault is a criminal and punishable offence. She will never have to pay anything to pursue this via police, no matter if the case goes to court or not.

It's only in civil cases that you have to pay the bill yourself, if the perpetrator goes free at the end of it all, and this is clearly not a civil case.
