Nice and cheap lol desk is like $60 in material
I can only imagine you wheeled out your wheeley chair to stand on it and take this picture.
Pfft of course
Sweet setup! Also thanks for posting because now i know about this community and have joined!
Is the PC on the right running KDE? The terminal looks like Konsole.
Whoa! Cool setup!
Sort the cables.
Nice setup! Does the desk phone actually see any use nowadays?
It's funny because that's what everyone points out lol. Yes! My dads hobby is VOIP phones and he runs a PBX all of us kids have a Voip phone and we do a lot of calls over them. It's also where my voicemails from my cellphone go lol
thats hilarious
great phone tho, sidecar and everything. little old but still used
how many lines your pops set you up with?
I've got 2 lines coming in and he has probably around 70 extensions for all his locations. When you call into the main line it asks you to type the first 3 letters of who your looking for then transfers to our extension he's also got a lot of ham radio stuff running through his PBX and even local radio station EXT
hahaaa thats awesome. i used to be a cisco phone guy myself (tho never one of the super smart guys) so ive known a few guys who get real into the home network thing
haha i bet hes fun
Cool setup! Please tell me about the guy lurking behind the corner in the middle monitor to the right. Some kind of TV show/movie?
I think I was watching Eureka....
This guy might like space a little bit
Space is just for me!
Wow, is every monitor connected to this pc in the middle of the desk?
The two on the left are on the type C dock for my X1Carbon lol it's on the floor..... This was just before the wall mount came
The new setup is coming together a lot nicer with much better cable management. We moved mine and my wife's desks into one large room so we could run 1 A/C rather than 2 lol
Nice setup! What do you end up using all those monitors for?
Vertical display is for web content, top display is for whatever show I'm watching, bottom two are work spaces.
Laptop is off the the left and that's just two workspace monitors
