I think he was coughing but were too embarrassed to admit. LOL
Karma for cheating for the last 10 years
114 more to go….
Simon Hooper reffed this match and Spurs vs Liverpool. He shouldn’t be a ref anymore
As true as that is I always find it hard to get riled up for decisions that go against slave worker fc
If Haaland had not missed at least 2 wide open goals, he wouldn't be passing about it so much.
Now they can call themselves a real team ;)
Yeah yeah we know.
We hear it every single fucking game. Get over it.
Not a fan of City , so you saying the game was ruined by that decisions, there was more to the game then that decision , period , carry on
Cry at home
What comes around goes around. COYS
Unluckeeeeeeee
Welcome to the club!
The result I want but man that was such a horrible call, what’s wrong with pausing for a second if it feels like there may be an advantage?
Hahahahahahaahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah
Definitely nothing to do with all the missed chances. 💯 The ref.
115 breaches
Guarantee the pundits don't mention it afterwards
boohoo
Truly a bad call from the ref. He played advantage, then it looked like Grealish probably wouldn't win the long ball, so the ref whistled. Should have waited. As a Spurs fan, glad he didn't.
This assumes that jack graelish who’s one goal in the last 27 matches was 10 minutes earlier would have finished it.
Agreed the ref should absolutely have played advantage but this isn’t near the officiating travesties we’ve seen this season.
Has there been a single gameweek this season that hasn’t displayed complete incompetence from the officials at least once?
Referees are human and they're going to make mistakes. This happens in every league and in every sport. Always has and always will.
I'm not sure what people's expectations are.
Not fun when you're on the receiving end is it
Anthony Taylor Smirks.jpg
ManCity players literally surround the ref on every call that doesn’t go their way and never get punished for it it’s wild
Counter balance
The clown car just keeps rolling on. Coming to a city near you next.
Anthony Taylor’s face after the incident was hilarious. Bruv knew he fucked up immediately.

I’m not privy to the comms between the referees, but I think most likely what happened was that Grealish was offside so when the ball was played to him, the AR said “waiting” (basically “he’s off but I’m not going to raise the flag yet”). Obviously there’s not going to be an advantage here, so the referee blew it back for the initial foul.
If this is what happened, it was actually really good refereeing, just poorly communicated to the spectators (though obviously it’s possible it was just a cock-up)
Weren’t robbed!. there was a chance he missed as well as a chance he scored but it was a bad call the refs these days are absolutely awful
😂
Beautiful pass absolutely ruined
Honestly, they've got the rub of the green for years and so one refereeing cock-up is neither here nor there. And I'm not even going to mention the 115 FFP charges so let's keep some sense of perspective here with the 'got absolutely robbed' crudola, huh?
They robbed the league 115 times. It’s okay if it happens once or twice.
What a shitty refereeing this season so far.
Have a cry
Fun to see all the crying that it's fair when it happens to city. Almost like refs aren't corrupt, they're just shit
Just watched the replay and Grealish is 2 yards on side.
It was offside anyway.
Here's my theory. He thought Grealish was offside, if he plays advantage then it'll be spurs' freekick. So he brings it back. Obviously, it wasn't offside and it's a bad call.
WHO CARES
Love Liverpool fans somehow making this about themselves again
Haaland sold it too hard and the ref bought it. Case closed.
about time it happened to City.. if there is any team that had it coming, it was them.. literally every single team has suffered already because of the refs, Arsenal and Liverpool are probably the two teams that have suffered the most but still 1st and 2nd
Poor call for sure but doesn’t guarantee that Grealish scores.
I originally thought Grealish was offside so maybe that was why, still doesn’t make sense to call it if your linesman didn’t put his flag up though
Anthony Taylor is, by far, the worse EPL ref. He makes an egregious call every game he works.
