Regardless of how much pep spouts about the media etc being all Liverpool. City have been sky’s golden boy for years and footballs in general and excuses have constantly been made for them. They grease all the right palms and have since 08. Nothing will happen this is all just a smokescreen.

Could've done with that last year hshaha ffs
Idk if a point deduction covers the extent of the breaches if they are true. This is a multiple title winning club and treble winners, those achievements are tainted beyond compare should they be allowed to remain, and idk if an asterisk next to each trophy in hindsight is enough of a solution.
I don’t get how people would be satisfied with a singular points deduction? If found guilty, the trophies and income from other clubs they’ve robbed over the years should be reimbursed. There’s no bigger demotivator to comply with FFP rules if the punishment is essentially to have one season where you don’t win the league.
So Pep will finally be gone after next season at least
ooof so they do have the evidence right if they are going to court? this is big i think. but they will prolly be swatted away by Man City's all stars lawyer lolll.
Not bad cheat your way to titles and cups for 20 years. Take a little fine an couple points deducted for 1 year then back to normal.
They will absolutely get away with it, premier league 'will do nuffin!' Then we will all kick off protest and then nothing will change.
They should be stripped of titles and relegated 2 leagues as minimum for all the cheating, bribing and back room dealing they have been doing.
Football has no integrety anymore.
Automatic relegation to League Two, stripped of all titles, and Pep is digital replaced in Ted Lasso with the force ghost of Shankly.
A huge points deduction.....
For what seasons???
No point hammering them in 2 years time when they have cheated their way to and taken titles from other teams for the preceding 5 or how many other year.
Final verdict being a strongly worded letter asking them not to do it again
Cheaters, can't wait. Shame we have to wait so long.
Ha! Good when you can “agree” your own trial date.
If found guilty
Please, by all means take your time.
10 points for every breach would only be fair if the leave is so insistent on making an example of Everton.
Happy with either at once, or having those deducted points retroactively distributed from every season they’ve been in breach.
…except for 18/19 and 21/22, maybe. 🙉
Getting Juve 2006/07 vibes …
One thing is certain, it'll come before Elder Scrolls 6.
Huge point deduction, more a huge league deduction
Oh, baby… what are the odds of a fine vs a 100 point deduction. Will a January window be a clear out sale of their talent before its massive depreciation?
Can’t wait to see their trophy cabinet go empty.
10 point deduction and a mediocre fine incoming
First of all there is no “trial” because this is not going to the court of arbitration for Sports . It’s an independent commission and they would simply go through all the evidence presented by Premier League and set a penalty (or not). There is no timeline agreed to with the commission.
City are the Enron of the PL... eventually will come out but 5 years too late.
Why do they have to ‘agree’ on a date? Shouldn’t be up to them to decide when’s convenient to be held accountable for breaking the rules. The PL should just give them a date and tell them to turn up. The longer they leave it the more evidence they can destroy and the longer they get away with cheating.
they gonna get shit, prem and football as whole is in petrol money people pockets.
but let's fuck Everton immediately
corrupt pieces of shit
Ill be damned
The desperation of some fans on here is embarrassing.
- City won it on the pitch.
- FFP is designed to protect the big clubs and to maintain status quo.
- Everton being deducted 10 points for a £20m overspend is unfair.
- City didn’t outspend United over the last 10 years, so by that logic they won it by being a better managed club not by spending the most
The rules are stupid. Fix the league properly.
Okay cool, but when the verdict is guilty and you dock them dozens of points and strip titles from them, relegate them. Then justice will be served.
Just banned them from competing, anywhere for 3 years. Ban the youth team, ban the womens team. Punish the whole organisation not just the team.
City’s egregious violations are less offensive that Everton’s violation because at least they win with the cheating.
