Hey! For the upcoming release, there's going to be a few things which hopefully aim to address this:
There's still some more work that needs to be done for link previews which will hopefully decrease the number of links without previews (as long as the associated link contains a preview)
If you have any other suggestions for improvements, feel free to make a GitHub request!
Hello! Just wanted to say that it's even worse now on v0.2.1+11 when both automatic theme and use dark mode is enabled in Settings > Theming (for some reason the theme changes when the dark option is enabled).
Hmm interesting. I have not tested that specific case since the dark theme/pure black theme options should technically not affect anything if automatic mode is on! (unless there is a valid reasoning for having both of those options on at the same time)
If you just have the system theme, I think the dividers should look okay? In the future, what we can do is just disable the ability to set dark/black theme if the system theme is on
Yes, if Use System Theme is enabled and Use Dark Theme isn’t then the dividers are visible when the system uses light theme. But then they are barely visible when the system changes to dark theme. 🙃
I usually keep the manual theme set to dark because it’s my preferred theme that I want to use when I disable the option to use the system settings.
Hmm, okay! That's a valid point you brought up. I'll keep the settings enabled for now rather than disabling them, and see what can be done to help with the divider situation
Just an update: theres been a few changes that will make its way to the next release to help with divider colours! These are some screenshots of the dividers. Let me know your thoughts on this (these are with Material You theme off)
