I've got no idea what the lyrics mean

I used this to practice Spanish.

It is a song about him alternating between liking a thing and saying that he likes a person (referred to as "you")

Also, it has something to do with time somehow,with him asking for the time, and then (maybe?) getting a response in French

It's one of my favorite Spanish songs
