Ok, but will I be able to see a single thing, or will it be characters wearing all black clothing at night without any lights again?

The first season was actually significantly more vibrant and colourful than that one specific episode of another show you're referencing.

I am literally referencing house of dragons season 1, which had several episodes and scenes seemingly shot with no lighting at all

So true, I just finished a rewatch and it took me like 10 minutes to adjust my monitors brightness to be higher than the default just so I could see a little bit clearer. Episode 7 I think is the most egregious in making it too dark to see anything.
