From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).
Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

I wonder will Mozilla be accepting cash in return for adding a domain to their 'quarantine' or direct bank transfer only?
Or am I being too cynical?
Any time I hear about browser addons being removed I automatically assume it's about ad blocking
This update doesn't seem to remove any add-ons specifically but turns them off on more sensitive websites if Mozilla has not reviewed them.
It does look like there is an about:config option to turn it off, however it looks like this is most likely to be for bank websites etc. and only for add-ons not reviewed by Mozilla.
Currently, at least, ublock origin and most of the bigger adblock add-ons are reviewed by Mozilla and shouldn't be affected
I did read that there would be an option to disable that behaviour, but did not know ublock origin and other adblock addons are reviewed by Mozilla.
To be honest, I didn't know Mozilla reviewed any addons at all. I've always assumed it was the wild west. I suppose I'd never thought about it.
