We are languishing in 10th, 8 points behind 'struggling' Man United. Defense is leaking goals, attack is largely misfiring and players are losing discipline.

The mentality has also become like that of a mid-table team. Nothing in and around the club screams world class at the moment.

I just don't find many differences between Chelsea and say, Crystal Palace (apart from the wages and all). As fans, should we also have a mid-table mindset? Satisfied with draws against the big boys and finishing the season with 45-50 points?

You can tell when someone's a new fan when they become worried after their team doesn't win a trophy for 1-2 years lol. Teams have ups and downs, this is football, get used to it.

Arsenal finished 8th in back to back seasons and are now title contenders for the second season in a row.

Liverpool finished above 6th only ONCE from 2009/10 till 2015/16.

Some Chelsea fans need to realize that we've been absolutely spoiled for trophies in the last 20 years. It's absolutely normal to eventually go through a rough patch.

Bruh, been a fan since 2009. I don't mind not winning trophies. I don't mind losing games either. It's just whenever it rains, it pours for Chelsea.

We won the CL 2 years ago. Arsenal haven't won a significant trophy since 2004.

We won the PL in 2017. United last won it in 2012.

We've been the most successful PL club in the last 20 years, although City might have equalled or passed us with the treble last year.

Yes, we've been shit for 2 years now, but that was obviously going to happen with Abramovic leaving. It's our time to suffer for a bit now. I think that with a few more signings and the current youngsters developing a bit more, we have potential to be competing sooner rather than later. It might take a season or two, but we should be fine.
