I started with a 1300x, currently have a 3600, and I'm considering a 5600x3d or a 5800x3d in a year or so. My only concern is that I have an Asus prime a320m-k. I've read the VRM is actually better than the other a320 boards but I don't know if it's equipped to handle 105w tdp.

If the 5700x3d keeps it's 65w tdp, then that would be the way to go on an a320 board. They run nice and cool
