Fifa:

  1. Award WC2030 to three continents with some dumb reasoning that everyone hates.
  2. Only accept applications from Oceania and Asia for WC2034 with a tight deadline, knowing only SA will apply
  3. no ... needed
  4. Profit

And nobody can claim the awarding was corrupt as they had no other choice than to give it to SA.

A one month deadline to apply for a World Cup, that takes place in 11 years, is fucking absurd.

No it’s not. They need time to properly count all their bribe money and enjoy their new yachts before the next bidding process starts.
