I'm a newcomer to Stargate, what order should I watch the shows and movies in? (lemmy.fmhy.ml)

I'm a little overwhelmed, and don't know where to start tbh

Start with the movie but realize it's not nearly as good as SG1's quality later on. Then watch SG1 and if you keep watching by the time Atlantis comes about you'll already know if you like the show enough to continue. I don't recommend anything after Atlantis and the SG1 movies but some people like Universe so it might be worth checking out.

Don't watch origins.

I actually like origins. Obviously it is no where near the main three, but still not that bad.

Don't watch Infinity though.

I'm surprised any Stargate fan actually likes it, but I respect you for having that opinion. Luckily any memory of Infinity has left me.
