I know this is meant to send a message, but I think it would be more hurtful to Tesla to leave those cars to rot on the lot. This way they're getting paid by insurance for all those cars.

I think vandalizing Teslas people have already bought is more effective. It makes people not want to buy Tesla’s and makes people sell them.
