It has been an almost perfectly steady climb since mid of December, resulting in 25 % higher prices... But only because it went lower the month before, where it was already at the price we see now. This had nothing to do with that stop, there was no sudden spike. We are also below the 2023 peak and of course FAR below the 2022 peak.

Then why not post a source that agrees with you, instead of a source that agrees with the op article?

I get it, Russia needs to be infinitely weak as well as infinitely strong for your ideology to work, but at least be a little consistent when you're trying one or the other.

Just look at the chart, how is that not doing exactly what I say? Did it not go up from 40 to 50 (so 25 % up) since mid Dezember? Easily verifiable, objective statements. Not sure where you see an ideology.
