@[email protected] @[email protected] I am really lucky to view and reply to my SMS from my Android phone using KDE Connect and also to control the media with it.
My only issue comes with basic MTP support - for for reliable file transfer I need to use tools like "Android_File_Transfer" or run a Windows WM where I could work with my phone similarly to a flash drive. That is quite sad - not sure what is the reason for that poor implementation of MTP in linux...

Use KDE Connect:
On your phone, go into wher you keep your files (say, your photo gallery). Select the ones you want to transfer (1). Tap the share button (2), and the devices paired with your phone will show up (3). Tap the computer you want to send your files to and they will show up in the "Downloads" directory of that machine a few seconds later (depending on their size, of course).
It works both ways, also from laptop to phone, and even between phones and computers.
@[email protected] @[email protected] Thanks, I am aware of the sharing option of KDE Connect. Works fine for me. But native MTP implementation for Dolphin would be great - I remember it used to work sometimes and for some phones but no more now... Would be useful for organizing files / folders and copying between computer and phone.
