It looks like the cops caught him via an update to your linked article.
They're claiming $500,000 in damages. That's a lot of money for a handful of shitty cameras. I wonder how the vendor arranged that kind of deal with the government.
Those cameras are expensive and expensive to install.
$100k/ea expensive? In what world is that a responsible use of public funds?
Have you look at portland goverment spending? It's the definition of irresponsible.
