I can't be the only one who thought Prey wasn't that great.

I thought it was entirely fine and enjoyable as a popcorn, action movie. But other than that I don't really understand why it deserves any awards.

Also what is the distinction between "movie" and "television movie"? That line seems pretty blurred in a world of streaming.

The studios pay their employees less on streaming contracts even though that’s basically what TV is nowadays. They make sure to distinguish the content because they want to keep paying low wages to the cast and crew of streaming contracts. They define streaming as “new media”, which is a joke to anyone paying attention.
