A project space in East London is preparing a series of events and an exhibition of artistic works, films, texts, and other artefacts broadly relating to the aesthetics of conspiracy and conspiracy theory.

We are interested in hearing from artists whose practices are concerned with conspiracy and conspiracy theory and refer directly to particular current or historical conspiracies, as well as works which consider conspiracy theories as affective structures for knowing. How might the “truth of art” address “post-truth” public domains? The project aims to understand and share with audiences the aesthetic forms of conspiracy manifest in contemporary art practices, as well as the failure of mainstream arts and media institutions to address conspiracy theorising.

We are agnostic about the content and attitude of any conspiracy theorising artists may pursue, historic, recent, or ongoing. Covid-truthers are welcome to respond to the call alongside those whose work debunks anitvax conspiracy theories. We are interested in political, social, scientific, psychological, and personal conspiracies.The intended outcome of this call is a presentation of works in the form of an exhibition and an event series unfolding between October 2024 and January 2025 in London. The location and further details will be shared with applicants. There is no submission fee. The project cannot offer honoraria or production budgets.

Submission:

Works in all media are welcome.

We are also happy to hear about work in progress.

For those that don't know, in seahorses, the male of the species carries the baby.

This is mostly done with brush strokes and blending in Affinity photo 1.8. Haven't done any real art in dozens of years. I'm happy with how this turned out.

Hi! I would like to start my journey creating digital art. I'm mostly interested in 2D, although I would like to learn Blender in the future. I haven't set a learning path yet. I was wondering if it would be better to start drawing on paper and then move on to digital, or if starting with digital tools right from the start would also be a good idea. In any case, I don't know anything about drawing. Can you recommend some learning resources such as books, YouTube channels, or anything that could be helpful to start? Any advice is greatly appreciated

Very underrated bunny girl that uses a giant carrot-looking blunt weapon!

This is the painting rendition of the result that happened as I was role-playing on Crushon.ai as a jealouse bitchy and offensive Princess Garnet with the Madam Lamia's ai bot, who held it pretty well until Garnet slapped her face.

Illustration I made for our Blades in the Dark game some time back. It was quite the eventful transport heist

This is a work in progress. I'm currently doing some post processing in GIMP 2.0 to make it look more painted. This was made in Flowscape (a first foray).

// Randomly spawn drops

// Take a random fraction of each cell move it down, or down and to the left or right

// The remainder of the fraction stays where it is

// Subtract a constant small value from all cells to prevent rain from accumulating

Hey everybody! check out my new entry to the Rookies! Any help to promote my art is greatly appreciated. My network is small right now, but with your help you can change that ;-)

This is my first ever portfolio piece, and I'm so proud of how much I've learned these last two years.
