Modified Hitachi ZX270LC Hydraulic Excavator

A mine clearance vehicle based on a crawler excavator was developed in Ukraine.

Developers from Kryvyi Rih designed and manufactured this mine clearance vehicle within four months. The excavator is also equipped with surveillance cameras, which facilitate the work of the operator, who can see the surrounding environment.

The mine clearance vehicle develops a speed of up to two kilometers per hour.

Kombigeräte

(very rough translation)

Combined stockpile and return loading units

If the dump operation requires simultaneous storage and recovery, separate devices are required for the stockpile loading and recharging.

However, no simultaneous storage and retention is necessary in many applications.

Then often combined stockpile and reload devices are used, which combine both functionalities.

Absetzer 1102

(very rough translation)

Rail-bound and swiveling bearing solutions for efficient material handling

In longitudinal warehouses, drivable deposits are usually used on rails, whose ejection mousto-off storage is often lifting or swiveling.

In circular camps (or round mixing beds), the separation in the centre is arranged swiveling. It is fed with the conveyed material via a belt bridge above the camp directly in its axis of rotation.

Sikorsky S-64

The Sikorsky S-64 Skycrane is an American twin-engine heavy-lift helicopter. It is the civil version of the United States Army's CH-54 Tarhe. It is currently[when?] produced as the S-64 Aircrane by Erickson Inc.

The Sikorsky S-64 was designed as an enlarged version of the prototype flying crane helicopter, the Sikorsky S-60. The S-64 had a six-blade main rotor and was powered by two 4,050 shaft horsepower (3,020 kW) Pratt & Whitney JFTD12A turboshaft engines.

M-497 Black Beetle

Built in the 1960s, the M-497 was an experimental train powered by jet engines. Its introduction was an attempt at bringing back the commuters who abandoned New York Central Railroad’s slower trains, the organization which sponsored the construction of the ‘Black Beetle’. The latter was a regular passenger train with a record speed of 185 mph (295 kilometers). This world record remained unbroken for 40 years.

The Space Shuttle is a retired, partially reusable low Earth orbital spacecraft system operated from 1981 to 2011 by the U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) as part of the Space Shuttle program. Its official program name was Space Transportation System (STS), taken from a 1969 plan for a system of reusable spacecraft where it was the only item funded for development.

The distance between Jakarta and Bandung are about 143km and Whoosh can travel between them for only around 45 minutes.

There is also a plan to extend this to go to Surabaya through Yogyakarta, but this isn't clear yet.

A gantry crane is a crane built atop a gantry, which is a structure used to straddle an object or workspace. They can range from enormous "full" gantry cranes, capable of lifting some of the heaviest loads in the world, to small shop cranes, used for tasks such as lifting automobile engines out of vehicles. They are also called portal cranes, the "portal" being the empty space straddled by the gantry.

Hughes XH-17

The Hughes XH-17 "Flying Crane" was the first helicopter project for the helicopter division of Hughes Aircraft Company. The XH-17, which had a two-bladed main rotor system with a diameter of 134 feet (41 m), still holds the world record for flying with the largest rotor system. It was capable of flying at a gross weight of more than 50,000 pounds (23,000 kg), but proved too inefficient and cumbersome to be mass-produced beyond the prototype unit.

Menzi Muck A91 with a grapple

The walking excavator's main feature is the ability to move in a crab- or spider-like fashion and hence overcome any terrain obstacle. The undercarriage design varies widely from model to model and between specialized roles. The number of legs or wheels can also vary from three (Menzi Muck 5000T2) to four. The leg design can also vary from fixed to telescoping. Most walking excavators now have rotating or powered wheels, allowing them to roll or drive depending on the need.

Mine scaling machines are used to break off loose material from mine walls, especially after blasting. These machines receive more of a beating from the work they do than any other machine in the mines. Unlike normal excavators, they often use a straight boom arm instead of a jointed one to increase the arms resistance to falling rocks.

Bagger 293, previously known as the MAN TAKRAF RB293, is a giant bucket-wheel excavator made by the German industrial company TAKRAF, formerly an East German Kombinat.[1][2]

Bagger 293 is 96 metres (315 feet) tall (the Guinness World Record for tallest terrestrial vehicle, shared with Bagger 288). It is 225 metres (738 feet) long (same as Bagger 287), weighs 14,200 tonnes (31.3 million pounds), and requires five people to operate. It is powered by an external power source providing 16.56 megawatts. The bucket-wheel itself is over 21.3 metres (70 feet) in diameter with 18 buckets, each of which can hold over 15 cubic metres (530 cubic feet) of material.

It can move 240,000 m3 (8,500,000 cu ft)[3] or[clarification needed] 218,880 tonnes of soil per day (the same as Bagger 288).
