Sounds like everyone else is weirdly angry that he's STILL IN OFFICE causing problems when he's clearly not fit for the job, regardless of the reason? Isn't that the more pressing concern than his health, him being an utter stranger to almost everyone?

Why do people need to be kind and sensitive toward someone's recovery while that person insists on keeping a position of extreme responsibility, and constantly fucks it up, while "recovering"?

Crappy take, friend. And the "so much for tolerance" is such a loaded phrase, you almost sound insincere, to boot. We don't owe these politicians a fuckin thing, CERTAINLY not some prioritized level of compassion. Get real!

To be fair, that's a pretty recent phenomena. Used to be adults at least who understood the necessity of continuity and long-term thinking, and who didn't think they were the literal embodiment of the entire government.

But no disagreement, the last 10 years or whatever must feel like serious whiplash. Can't blame anyone for not trusting a single thing out of my country these days, I sure don't.

Idk if that sneaky little Dethklok reference was intentional or not, but I'm not letting it go unremarked! Great work!

Edit: remarked

This is a fantastic idea. To be clear, anyone working on such a thing will almost certainly gain the administration's attention, which of course is extremely dangerous. But yes, this should exist!

I mean, the suffering required for a human to legitimately want to kill themselves is extreme, kinda by definition. So uhh...yeah homie might wanna continue keeping that to yourself lmao!

On the other hand, suicidal threats with no actual sincerity, to get attention...on that I agree with ya. Cringe AF.

Cheers! And hard agree, those of us with some amount of demographic plot armor, so to speak, gotta deploy that shit lol

Fuck yeah, stay strong in the struggle my friend!

Yeah man we're pretty squishy! I'd imagine an adult gorilla has to consciously try not to hurt us in physical interactions of any kind lol, like me with my own kiddos. Fairly sure just pulling off a limb would be well within their capabilities. Guaranteed death sentence, and a brutal one, no question.

Sadly, from what I understand in the US at least, anti-immigrant sentiment is often common among immigrants themselves after some time has passed. To be clear - I'm sure there's a lot of nuance that I'm not privy to, please don't read that as some strict assertion.

But for instance, from what I understand about the Cuban diaspora in Florida, they are often viciously anti-immigrant.

Just us humans being humans unfortunately, we got a lotta work to do on ourselves, collectively.

Great advice. And anyone in authority at a place of employment that might be targeted should know exactly how they intend to respond, meaning they must plan for it. As soon as the thugs make themselves known, execute the plan - get one person on 911 doing what you said, while another confronts them directly to try to force them to leave.

I wonder if there are any resources giving concrete advice on what to do in these scenarios? Kind of like how we have great standard advice from various law professionals, etc., about what to do and not do when detained by police.

Edit to add: even if you expect the local PD to come down against your side, it's probably still a good idea to call them in. The resulting time and chaos as they get things sorted out may be just enough to do something useful for the vulnerable person needing help. Remember, once that person is in the custody of the gestapo, it's fucking over, their life is wrecked at best. See only what happened to Kilmar Abrego Garcia for proof.

Grappling a gorilla is such an unbelievably bad idea lmao, no matter the BJJ steez. You're right, things are fucking tanks, just flat out invulnerable to us hand-to-hand.

I was thinking about that, can't think of any examples off the top of my head, but you're right, if it were done successfully, it wouldn't be something most of us would ever talk about or be aware of.

I do think it generally holds though, there's a reason the word for the phenomena is "bubble" and not something more suggestive of controlled deflation.
