I've been trying to download videos from a streaming site that serves them in a very particular and weird way (or at least weird enough so that software like JDownloader and VideoDownloadHelper can't grab them).

VideoDownloadHelper will spit out an error message, but at least I can use it to grab the URL. I've provided one here on Pastebin because I don't think I should post it to Reddit directly:

As you can see it seems to be an m3u8 along with some token. The videos stream to an embedded player on the site, which usually works and would be fine for me, if it weren't so slow at times. I'd much rather download it, even if it takes like two hours, and then watch without it stopping to buffer all the time. Any idea how I can get to the file directly?

Looking for sites that specifically have House, Techno and their sub genres which are on Bandcamp, Traxsource, Juno and Beatport to download. Must be 320 kbps minimum or it just sounds like trash at high volumes if any lower than that. Closest on the mega thread I found was the Bandcamp downloader. Sadly its 128 kbps which is no good.

I have been using somewhere called the musicfire for a while. Everything is pay walled behind two premium fileshare sites. Which is fine but I'm increasingly finding that whilst on the surface it looks like 1000's of tracks are available to dl, the reality is that tons of the links are magically broken in some way or the file just doesn't exist at all. It's become a bit sneaky imo. You only find this out once you've paid for premium.

Just out of curiosity, is there any to way to bypass these fileshare premium requirements? I'm guessing there isn't. Anyway, appreciate any help and site advice. Cheers!

If one were to be looking for a shazam audio signature library, or an equivalent audio library that could act as a database in the background of a shazam-like app, where would be an auspicious place? the standard places don't seem to have any good leads and you can't seem to buy these things.

I was locked on buying a new 3ds for the sole purpose of jailbreaking it as I have a dsi that I really liked, but I saw an option for a fairly cheap system and was starting to wonder if I should just buy a ps vita, I like god of war and some games like salt and sanctuary, call of duty and open to a wide variety of games, my question is, how easy is it to jailbreak it and is it easy to find all the games I want to pirate?

I'm not planning on even signing in or playing online, just want it to be pirated.

I just recently canceled my Apple Music subscription after downloading all of the songs I had on there. I used to just scroll through the Apple Music suggestions and listen to bits of songs and add the albums if I thought it sounded interesting. However, now I’m not really sure how I should go about discovering new music I like. I would love to hear some suggestions!

To start off with I want to make it clear, I'm planning on buying music from the artists when I can either on band camp or buying a cd/going to a show and buying merch. Seeing how badly Spotify compensates artists and how much my musicians are struggling I decided to cancel my Spotify premium and spend my money on their merch at shows. So in the mean time I want to pirate the music.

I know some people will suggest torrentz, trust me they don't exist for some of the songs I'm looking for. I've got over 10K songs to look for and about 7 of the first hundred had torrentz i could find (i looked around more than a few sites, and some of those torrentz have stuck at 0% in the weeks they've been active). The only consistent place I've found songs is on youtube. So far I've manually been going through and using an mp3 converter converting the songs. 1 by 1. (oh boy was that a bad idea, in the 3 weeks I've been doing it I've only just reached 100 songs)

I do know some coding (python mostly) I'm debating trying to write a program to replicate the process I've manually been doing but I have no idea how to do that or where to start. Would anybody more experienced or with a better solution be able to advice me?

(I was going to post this on a sub red for coding or programming but the ones I found have rules that don't allow me to ask about this)

Apparently my Mazda navigation is out of date and glitches out my GPS.

I logged in to Mazda toolbox with my Nav SD card. I can either get a 1 time update for 120$ CAD or a 3 year subscription for 190$

Paying ANYTHING when my god damn phone has GPS free is really grinding my gears.

Anyone know how to get the latest update and get through the paywall?

My school installed a DCP projector with full Dolby surround sound capabilities just for movies, I spoke with the technician and he told me thag I need a movie in DCP format for it to play with full capabilities.

So now I have 2 questions: 1- Where can I find said DCP movies thag have good download speed and not in private trackers (Storage is not a problem)? 2- I know that not every movie had its DCP leaked, so if I have a 4k Bluray Remux, how can I turn it into a DCP file, while being able to benefit from surround sound and subtitles?
