Is this a bad decision? Is anyone planning on doing the same?

2k is 1080p. Its based on count of horizontal pixels. So please STOP calling 1440p 2k.

My dad found a pc in the bin at his work, it was ontop of cardboard so it didn't hit any metal, the glass isn't shattered the components are all fine.. but there's a yellow light on the motherboard, a white light on the GPU and a big red light on the back of the motherboard.

I tried to take a stick of RAM out and a bottom clip ended up falling out (FML) but it was fine because I can just slot it back in (the clip). the yellow light persists

The motherboard is a strix z370-h and i believe the red light is just to light up the motherboard but I'm not sure.

I'm not sure on the CPU or GPU but it's a GTX card with 3 fans if that helps.

if you need extra details just say so and i'll supply them. I'm fairly knowledgeable on PCs but never get a chance to handle these types of things.

TL;DR current consumerism culture is bad.

Just saw the latest 5080/90 pricing for 3rd party cards.

No. From the highest altitude, fuuuuu you Jensen. Your key note was out of touch, stupid, and cringe.

There is no reason other than absolute greed and hubris. I don't expect things to cost nothing and be free and plentiful to all. I do like to see honesty and customer loyalty. But to Nvidia, customer loyalty only flows from the customer towards Nvidia in the form of money. Nobody asked for higher prices.

Same goes for basically any major corporation. Don't buy these cards, dont buy that new thing just because company head said so. We are all getting royally screwed from every which way financially. Ever since Covid locked down the world companies saw just how completely stupid, irresponsible, and desperate an average person is for luxury goods. Companies saw the amount of money scalpers were making and so adjusted their pricing across the board in all sectors, except Arizona Tea (based).

Ps. I'm not broke. I have a brain that says consumerism has jumped the shark a long time ago and we are living in a corporate wet dream. People will financially destroy themselves to ensure they get Starbucks every morning.

Original Title: Why doesn’t trade in features exist for computer parts? Would it be worth it offering a trade for a Nvidia equivalent I only had it for whenever the two game for free deal(war hammer I believe and the other non liked one.) was for AMD was maybe 3-5 months.

I recentlyish just got a 7900gre and after some videos of people playing inzoi and announcements they are having a collaboration with nvidia, with certain features and I wish to use those features, does anyone have any clue if the 7900gre has ai related compatibility for the game. (Last I heard there will be some cool feature not just about generative ai.)

Or does Nvidia offer a cloud based way to use the CUDA cores ai thing?

It already has mouse and keyboard support, a web browser and you can use Office. Why not just let us edit videos and use Photoshop too? I think rebranding the Xbox into an affordable and compact PC would generate so much revenue. the series X already looks like a computer

Hi guys im wondering which of these two cpus will perform better in a few years, taking in account the 8 core count on amd part. We can’t be sure what games will support by then. I’m pretty sure the higher core count is more futureproof. And the intel will game longer than amd. What do you think ?
