True. Imagine a referee giving a team a bad call because the fans called him a cunt 20 years ago. Humans can be very petty.

Up until now there are now two puskas contenders. Garnacho and di marco.

Agreed. It's already started to cross the limit of what a referee can handle. That bunda referee tore his ACL yesterday.

Stefan Lainer returns to Borussia Mönchengladbach training. The right-back, who was diagnosed with lymph node cancer in July, has successfully completed the therapy carried out over the past few months.

recent final examination showed that the therapy carried out by Lainer had achieved the desired goal and that the lymph node cancer could be cured. “We are incredibly happy and relieved that Stevie Lainer has won the battle against this disease. This victory makes us very happy. We are happy for Stevie and his family,” explains Roland Virkus, Borussia’s sports director. “The fact that he can now be part of the team again and see the other boys regularly is an important step for the future. At the same time, we are giving him the time he needs to fully come back.”

“I’m really happy that I can concentrate fully on football again and train with the team,” says Stefan Lainer. “The last few weeks and months have been a big challenge. I am very grateful to have received so much support from family, friends, the club and the fans during this time. All of this gave me strength. I would especially like to thank my wife and Doctor Sellmann, who were the most important of many supports during this time.”

During his several months of therapy, the 31-year-old was able to regularly work on his physical fitness with athletic trainers at BORUSSIA-PARK - accompanied by close medical monitoring. This enabled Lainer to maintain good physical condition. After completing the mandatory performance diagnostics, Borussia's right-back will be gradually integrated into team training starting this week.

Yeah sorry it was a typo. I accidentally wrote "detail."

19 years old with ACL and meniscus....I hope it doesn't detail his career. He's got so much potential.

I've got 115 reasons to not believe this article.

In my country, advertisements involving tobacco and alcohol are banned. You won't find any ads involving them. Even if there are sponsorship, they're shown in the name of something else. "Carlsberg Glasses." Something like that. Brand name and something else like water, soda or glasses. Not gonna lie because it is effective. I go to the liquor store and I haven't even heard half of the things they're selling.

And tobacco advertisements are straight up banned. They can't do anything. The government took it a step further and added a nasty picture of a dude with throat cancer and lung cancer in every box of cigarette no matter the brand. Except the imported ones. It's totally NSFW and people get disgusted by it.

Messi paying his respects to Kwaradona.

Manchester United look to have suffered yet more injury misery with both Marcus Rashford and Andre Onana forced off on international duty.

Rashford came off worse after clashing with Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold during England's 2-0 Euro 2024 qualifying win at home to Malta. He received medical attention on the pitch at Wembley before being replaced by Cole Palmer on the hour mark

Onana started in goal for Cameroon's World Cup qualifying match against Mauritius. The Reds shot-stopper lasted 81 minutes but was also forced off with an injury, the nature of which is not known

Is anyone gonna start a study on how City and newcastle owners funded their success? This is a really stupid thing to do because almost every billionaire has blood on their hands. Throughout history i wouldn't be surprised if the Saudi royal family has killed the population equivalent to a small country. The abramovic news is only news because it's all politics.

The least they can do is bring in some consistency.

Honestly, I didn't know this company existed before today.

Haha we've got professor X on the helm. WE'RE WINNING THE TREBLE BOYS!

Wow. A Russian billionaire had links to the Russian president? How uncommon is that.

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has no doubts his coaching team are more than competent enough to take charge of the team, when he faces a touchline ban after the international break.

The boss picked up a third yellow card this term during the 1-0 win over Luton Town at Old Trafford, after earlier cautions against north London sides Tottenham and Arsenal.

Erik was frustrated when a throw-in decision was overturned in the Hatters' favour, during a second half that ended up being pretty tense, with only one goal separating the sides, despite the Reds' dominance, particularly in the first half.
