I don't find cycling to be very good exercise for me. I lived inner city and rode a bike everywhere for years. I don't have access to enough consistent bike path before I have to stop for crossroads (Djerring Trail). I like running because it gets my heart rate up and I can do it at the local footy oval. I could take my bike to Malvern velodrome but it makes exercise a three hour job with getting there and back.

Oh bugger. I can't run cause everything below the equator is sore for days on after. I'm guessing the answer is yes, but have you looked into knee support braces? One of the dudes at my gym swears by one (I'll find out the brand) cause he run again without discomfort.

Thanks but don't stress the brand. I feel braces are a bit like chiro, it really does work for some people but the science is weak.
