I've been using Newsgroup Ninja for 3 years, and I'm totally happy with it. I have some mistakes in Newsgroup Ninja dashboard recently.

I believed like other system, no one could resolve it without weeks or months.

But the founder has helped me just in less than 15 minutes, also with the technical issues, and the professional service.

I'm truly impressive with Newsgroup Ninja service, and I suggest our hoarder to give it a try, I'm totally sure you would be satisfied with the quality of the service, and also the top professionalism of the supporter.

Need to get my password for a fresh win install. I've used the link to have the password resent to email several times but nothing is coming through after 24 hours. Does it take a few days? Any other channels for support?

Hi everyone. Currently I have the following providers:

  • NewsHosting (priority 0)
  • NewsGroupDirect (priority 0)
  • Eweka (priority 1)

I'm probably going to drop Eweka entirely, as I keep it set to a lower priority in SABnzbd. I just checked and that provider hasn't downloaded a single article over the last 6 months. 0% hit rate on 84k articles. So it doesn't seem to be adding anything of value to my setup.

That leaves me with NH and NGD, the former of which has more than doubled my subscription price this year to $44 USD. I think I pay $25 USD for NGD, assuming they don't also price hike this year.

My question is - is there anything I can improve here? Better deals, diversity of providers/backbones, etc? Or should I just drop Eweka and call it good?

I have 2 blocks 1 on each of these. What other provider would one suggest for best completion?

I have a collection of files that im preparing to post. One thing that I don't fully understand is which newsgroup I should post in. I understand that is has to be in alt.binaries, but im not sure what specific group. Does it matter which group I post to? And if so, How do I determine which group?

I'm writing to warn other users of problems with bulknews.eu so none of you repeat my mistake since Bulknews hasn't been mentioned in a few months and the times it was mentioned were due to other TLS/SSL errors of various times. Admittedly this is where I messed up. I'm a big dummy. I don't want you to be a dummy too.

I attempted to purchase a bulk account a few days ago and was immediately provided with an API error stating that the Certificate Authority could not be verified between Bulknews and their credit card processor. The problem is that I was also charged for the service that was not showing up in my account. I immediately submitted a support ticket to get the issue resolved, but have found that my account is disabled/deleted today. They never answered my support ticket.

Just a warning to other users that might potentially fall into the same trap.

. . . or does it only fetch/display binaries?

I'm navigating the UI as best as I can, and when I click the "Everything" tab for a newsgroup, the messages with the lowest size are around 5 mb with binary attachments. . . so I'm not seeing any text messages. If I'm wrong, can you help me out? Thanks.

I have limited newsreader options on a Mac. Usenapp works great, except once I try to fetch more than 250,000 articles, it just. . . won't.

Hello there, I have many nzbs stored on my hdd, I want to organize them like indexers do, I have installed newznab.com indexer on a small vps, I don't want to index from usenet directly, I want to upload my own nzb manually or through api like nzbgeek does.

but I cannot find "user upload" option on newznab, I wonder if the paid version offer such a feature.

what do you thing? I cannot find any info about the paid version, I am using it among my family and friend, we are about 30 users only, not that much.

Hi all,

Just tried to log into dog there and it refused my password. Have it saved in a password manager so I know it's correct.

I tried resetting my password and I receive the automated mail saying that click the link to reset but when I do, it just brings me to a log in page again and not a reset password option. Anyone any ideas how to reach out to them?

Hi everyone. Brand new to this.

I purchased frugal as my main provider, paired with nzb geek indexer. I kept getting missing articles immediately into download so I brought a block. Same thing (basically I just had to quit download otherwise id use my block rapidly doing 4k movies.)

So then I have gotten ewka too, say bugger it two unlimited plans just to see if that will fill in the gaps and it just fails entirely over to ewka every time.

I may aswell not have purchased frugal. But to be honest I feel like I must be doing something wrong here as ewka works absolutely perfect for me even without a block. Any ideas?

I have them setup on sabnzbd

Hello, I'm new to usenet and my background is torrents so I wonder if there place that I can upload NZB files to and download on their cloud the actual files then I mount it with rclone to not take a lot of my local storage? I looked up online and found some providers like offcloud but as I'm new, I want to hear your recommendations maybe I find something better. Thanks.

Hello, I have been using Newshosting for about a year now but I was thinking if there is any better options out there that I could try? I paid $80 for a year for Newshosting which I thought was a good deal but when I look at their plans right now it would come out to $13 a month which I think is a little bit too much.

What would my best option be?

I live in Europe and have a pretty fast internet which I could utilise (500mbit fiber)

Thanks!

Theres a setting in the *arrs that mention"Indexer Priority 25 Indexer Priority from 1 (Highest) to 50 (Lowest). Default: 25."

I have multiple indexers(geek, alt, DS, Finder), and was wondering what people use for this setting, are their indexers all the same priority? I looked in the stats field of the *arr and looks like it pulls mostly from geek(90%). This is mostly because i had geek a month before the others. So do i keep all at default or which is best to be top priority?

Just curious what others think, thanks!

My subscriptions for these are ending soon and I only want to keep one. According to prowlarr they perform about the same for successful grabs. Any reasons for keeping one over the other? Just looking for opinions I guess.

ETA: I have NZBGeek as well, which is why I want to drop one

So I’ve been using easynews for around 15 years and I have no big problems or complaints.

My main issue is efficiency & ease of use. I tend to download individual files instead of doing batches and zips because I’m not sure how to make it work correctly & Ive done it a few times with mixed results

Another issue I have is let’s say im downloading something with 16 parts, If I can only find part 8/16 is there an easy way to find the other parts?

Is there like a layman’s guide written anywhere on the best easiest ways to use easynews with specific examples?

TLDR: is there a wepage or guide somewhere anywhere!! with easynews tips and tricks 🤣 for dummies???
