There's probably others. Just a quick off the top of my head list.
Reading your comment, a fully agree it's very unlikely...
But it's the narrative I want to be true. Lol
Perfect! I'll try to do my part! 👍
I'll do my best to post things. I bounce between Twitter and YouTube a lot. We cool with posting video content from YouTube? Thinking videos from frontstretch and Esteep (out of the groove) and others that I follow.
I'll warn you, I'm a bit trigger happy... And just blindly post. I'm not always good about checking if something has been posted prior... So I apologize in advance. Haha
I was using a home built machine for several years as a Nas, and it was fine, but I ultimately upgraded to a Dell R510. They can be had pretty cheap, and have 12x 3.5" bays. I also added an HBA that I plug into a Lenovo sa120 (direct attached storage) I bought, for a total of 24x 3.5" drives.
I mention the sa120 because it just leads to expandability down the road for you. My r510 is one of my most favorite machines. I'm currently migrating data from 15x 4tb drives, over to 6x 10tb drives and I'm going to be shutting the DAS down to save electricity.
The r510 isn't easy on electric usage, but it has been Rock solid for me.
You can say that again! LMC has been on Thea teugfle bus all year in a major way. It's been drastic, too. I remember Jones running well last year, and thinking... "Man, it's nice to see Jones running tip 10!" a few times last year. They have been terrible this year.
Yeah, I was really hoping he could have stayed in the Chevy camp myself, but I'm still excited to see what he can do full time. SHR has some serious work to do to catch up, imo... But Im still happy and excided for Josh!
I suspect your right. But... If we get it going and more people realise it's available as an alternative, maybe we can grow the community. We'll see.
Sweet, I'll be there. I've been present in just about every race thread on reddit for the last few years!
I'm running Trunas. I've been using it for many years, and it's been an fantastic solution for me.
As far as resources, what do you mean? It's an older server, so Google is your friend for sure. But I've had zero issues sourcing parts that I may have needed.
