Heat least used ropes. Free soloing is the one without ropes, and indeed, insane. I agree with the other comment though, what an absolute dickwad for abandoning his family to "find god"

I have to admit I don't know a ton about the Vanmoof ebikes, but good ebikes in general cost at least $2000, so they weren't really that far off. The difference between a rear hub motor rad power or something like that and a midmount motored trek or specialized is massive. I'm guessing Vanmoof was on that end of the spectrum.

I'm glad this range of choices exist because a wanker on a Vanmoof is better than a wanker in a Bimmer. I'm a little surprised by the hate here.

Kinda ironic, no?

Please do! At least I'm enjoying them! I've always been more of a commenter than poster, but I'll try to contribute more!

It would still show higher potential earnings, which is all investors care about. Even if they tell investors exactly why revenue is up, and they probably will, investors will see that and say "great! Guess premiums not coming back!"

My cousin did this so much that the company called him and asked him to stop. No repercussions or anything, just "please stop"

I skimo on TP by using a bidet. Doesn't hurt to buy the good stuff when you use so little.

Is that a Brompton?

Honestly at this point on Lemmy, I feel like any content on these smaller communities is a win. Hopefully there will be enough of us here for a discussion to happen!

By this argument, both the east and west coasts of the US should have great public transportation. It also ignores the fact that many american cities HAD great pubic transportation in the form of trams, yet removed them for roads and highways. That decision had nothing to do with density or distance (at the time, when american cities were still walkable and the car had yet to dominate the transportation landscape), and everything to do with policy.
