Mfers out here googling what age a legal adult is to defend predators

I've started printing TPU, and I have to make the "grip" on my BMG clone extruder extremely loose to get it to extrude properly. Otherwise, the TPU will jam.

The downside is that hanging my spools off of a static hook does not cut it anymore, as the extruder does not have any "grip" to pull the filament.

So I've started looking into spool holders that use bearings to reduce friction on feeding filament. Is TUSH still the gold standard? If not, what is?

For those who don't know what I'm talking about (TUSH)-> https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2047554

Long story short, I've been building a Frankenstein printer (P3steel) out of old parts. I had a lot of problems with this RAMPS 1.4 hat where some axis would stop working occasionally, needing a reboot and then finally, it burnt out the USB chip (16U2) on my Arduino Mega.

Rather getting a new mega and continuing to use this cheap ramps board, I'm looking to get a new board.

I use a raspberry pi to drive the board (Klipper). So 32 bit isn't important to me. I'm looking for a decent board with decent protection against burning itself out. What should I get?
